The paving crews had to take a rain-day today as you may have seen, but plan
on continuing on tomorrow if the weather permits. The plan for Friday is to
finish the last corner of the Brassfield roundabout, the east-bound lane between
Brassfield and Boulevard, and the side streets between Henderson and Boulevard,
excluding Laura St. If you have avoided Yelm Hwy in the recent past, here's a
couple pictures to prove it.

Next week the sound wall, landscaping, and curb/sidewalk crews will be back
on site (not much room with the paving happening) and will continue with their
work in various places. Hopefully this work will allow for free flowing
traffic. Starting October 3rd, however, the remaining storm lines will be
construction near the east end of the project and could cause some additional
delays. (Hopefully not though!)
